Av. Paulista is fun for a lazy stroll. There are bars and food places along the avenue. It is packed during the week, and less crowded on weekends.

If you close your ears, it looks like any other business district in the world. Other than the Modern Art Museus and the Trianon Park, nothing worth seeing.

It is a ver nice avenue, full of life during week days because its plenty of private and public offices, restaurants, hotels, etc. Weekends it is empty and maybe you can appreciate more in a more relaxed way it´s fantastic buildings but it can be a little sad because of the lack of movement. In Av Paulista you can see... More

Very multi cultural, with various selections for food, shopping, entertainment and public attractions, during the day is a pleasent place to walk by, however you should avoid pick hours when people go to work / lunch / after work... you can also find many pubs nearby (it's a long avenue) which can be crossed in 30min walking non stop.

Multi-cultural avenue, modern architecture, and excellent to go at night, with many bars and parties (called "balada"). Trianon Park are awesome, MASP is very good too. Always has new-years-eve shows at December 31st. (and there are some of better Starbucks of Sao Paulo)

Symbol of Money, rush and business. Paulista avenue is plenty of high buildings and head quarters of many companies.

I like to stroll on Ave Paulista in the evenings or over weekends. There are still many people but you can better observe modern architecture of this major avenue of SP. While yo walk, stop in corner Lanchonetes (fast food shops) for bowl of Açaí (Acai berry mix).

Sao Paulo doesn’t really have many tourist destinations, but there are lots of different neighborhoods and streets that characterize the city. If anything is the quintessentially Sao Paulo it would be Avenida Paulista. The street is famous for the antenna towers on top of the buildings. The MASP and Trianan park are are both on this avenue.

Amusing avenue with lots of banks and office buildings, some with interesting arquitecture but nothing truly iconic. Worth the stroll nevertheless, but don't compare it to other "landmark" avenues like Park, 5th or Times Square @ NYC! It's more like Paseo de la Reforma or Insurgentes @ Mexico City (but with less things to see/do).

Doesn't have not impressive, but it's a nice place to walk with someone in a end of evening. There some buildings, banks, and coffees. Actually for someone who find something interesting is not a indicated place to visit. Some people compares Av. Paulista with NY, but is totally different, doesn't have the same charm.
