Swampy! There's no more thing to say about that beach. Ah, I can add that there are lots of fishermen, dead fish and vultures. You can check it for yourself.

Ideal place if you want to relax and have some fish in one of the beach restaurants. Try to park your car on the beach.

Very pittoresque with a lot of local fishers earning their living. Very flat beach. Great for swimming. You can see wales after having given birth to the young ones from july to september. It is the second most southern beach of the island, about 30 km from Lagoa da Conceiçao, which is right in the middle of Floripa.

Pantano do Sul is nice. It's one of the beaches you can drive on the sand. There are many good restaurants.

the sea is very very calm here and suitable for swimming. much more pleasant than the praia inglesses. make sure you have a bite at BAR de Arante just along the beach front. Unique decorations, delicious seafood. But have a credit card ready though.

We just stayed here for 6 hours with the kids. The water is calm, beautiful surrounding and the best restaurant ever....

Drive down to Pantano and watch the local fishermen bring in their catch an watch them push their boats back up onto the beach

It's quiet, aside from the mantra-like crashing of the waves onshore. I was there at the end of the season, and loved the solitude and the scenery.
