This is an easy 2 kilometer trails. Appropriate even for seniors and children. It is located next to Sugar Loaf and runs along the sea. Totally secure and safe looked after by the military. You can see little monkies and exotic birds. You will love it. Bring your camera along.

This short trail under the pao de acucar is very nice for those who visit this major attraction, the forest feeling by the sea is a cool breeze on a hot summer day. This is also starting point for many climbing routes for the more adventurous. Only 3km to the end and back
If you don't want to splash out for the cable car, there is a trail that will take you up to the first hill. Otherwise, just stay on the grandma-path, take photos, watch the monkeys, sit on a bench and write. Almost empty during week-days, good place to jog.

Go to the Vermelha Beach, turn left and cross the iron portraits.
It's a 1 hour soft walk, with unbelieveble shore and stone views.
