Imagine this: Afternoon, small beach, so much people u can barely walk. rests of food and garbage in the sand; people swimming amongst the garbage! Not to mention the amount of people barbecuing and making so much noise u get dizzy! Do you think its a bad movie? No, it is Itaipu beach!

filthy water- unuseable like most beaches in Rio/Niteroi. shame that the sea has been allowwed to get to a state where it is unbatheable and often has a fairtly strong odour
