When you go for the beach there are better beaches in buzios. But this one has rocka bar. Great place to lie in the sun on the lounge beds and have a champagne. Beach is quite small. Tortuga or gerdiba beach are better if you want to hang out on the beach.

Enticed by the possibility of some surfing, unfortunately the day we chose was not ideal for this but a pretty beach nonetheless. Unfortunately the baraccas were a bit tired and dirty and the nature of the beach area leaves little space to sit without fear of your belongings washing away and also, for some reason, the charge for a guarda... As many of the other beaches, the landscape was unbelievably beatiful. And unlike of most of the beaches in town, the waves were daring. Almost imposible to find some shadow

Wow! What a nice beach!! Not at all crowded like most places, very family like, no random sellers every 5 mins asking you to buy something and of all, nice water! I could stay there for long days... Loved it!

by far our favorite beach! after turing the beaches of buzios, we found Playa Brava and it quickly became our favorite. it was never crowded and had small waves, perfect for swimming. there was a guy there with a few chairs and umbrellas, who will make you a drink, or even cook you some fish if you ask him. it... Some waves, beautiful view, calm and relaxing, by far my favorite beach in Buzios. Got a couch at Brava Hotel, best caipirinha around, great calamari, the sound of the waves and a great company you can't find better than this! Definitely recommend

I went to four beaches during my time at Buzios, Joao Fernandinho (way too crowded), Azeda (small and fairly busy), Osso (to near the port) and Brava. Brava was by far my favourite. It is set in beautiful scenery, not a boat in sight of the beach. Really uncrowded and chilled out. Only downside is that the waves are fairly... More
