Geriba beach was my favorite but there are many beautiful beaches of Buzios! There are boat rides from the downtown area that tour multiple beaches

When traveling the world we spent a great deal of our time in Buzios. We skipped classics like Ilha Grande and Paraty and instead went to Buzios. And it was great. It has 20+ beaches. Great restaurants and bars on the beaches, great night life. defenitely worth visiting.

They say the beaches in Buzios are better than in Rio. What they really mean is that they are a lot smaller, more crowded but have beach service of all kinds at your fingertips. Most of the beaches actually disappear when the tide comes in which means you are either sitting in the water or right at it's edge once... More

Are much calmer than the beaches in Rio. You can walk in without fear of being knocked over by a huge wave. A lot of the beach restaurants don't charge you for chairs and umbrellas, they only charge for food and drink (unlike Rio where you have to pay for everything). They have 20+ beaches and you can either walk... More

If you are around Rio and you have some spare time Buzios is a great place to visit. The town has lovely cobblestone roads full of restaurants and shops , the beach is amazing and you have a chance to tour a few more with a catamaran tour. Fresh fish, elegant shops and a promenade it is comparable to fashionable... More

We were in Buzios for 3 days and went to Geriba, Brava, Joao Fernandes and Azeda. If you like big waves, Geriba and Brava get all the plaudits. We do, so they topped our list. Brava has warmer water, but there is only one eating choice (admittedly the amazing Rocka). Geriba has loads to do and there is lots of... More

The city of Buzios has more than 10 beaches, each of them with their own peculiarities. Some are small and calm others are large and windy. Try to find you favourite...mine...Ferradura!!!

Let's face it. Not all beaches are equal. Nor is a beach one size fits all. Every family situation is different and each beach in unique. In Buzios, there is a beach for everyone. All you need to do is explore them all and decide what's best for your vacation now.
