Watch the tide table and go swim on the natural pools! Take care with prices (they charge you for everything).

Went there yesterday. It¨s almost a paradise. Clear water for bathing with small fishes around, excelent view. Pictures show you a part of it. One important thing to point out which disappoints are the charges (almost US$15,00) for using chairs and sun umbrella at the beach, unless you pay around 35 US$ for a fish snack which is unbelievably expensive... The big problem with the beaches of Pernambuco state is the very poor road infrastructure after the city of Ipojuca was designated as a new brazilian industrial hub. In three consecutive days when stayed in Recife, it took SEVERAL hour in a miní bus to go less than 50 km between Recife and Galinhas. The problem just repeats again and... More

The beach is nothing special when compared with maracaipe. As lots of people going to the natural swimming pool- lots of tour operator, the beach tend to be very crowded

Try to visit this beautiful beach during the week because it can get crowded at the weekends (especially now during the high season). To get some chairs and an umbrella you have to haggle a bit with the boys that are renting them. They try to tell you that you do not pay for the rent but only what you... More

Porto de Galinhas is a small village that is part of Ipojuca City in Pernabuco state. Porto de Galinhas became famous for its natural pools. The beach itself has nothing special other than the big crowd and the pack of locals trying to sell you something. The pools: You may pay R$15 reais per person to get a jangada to... More

The beach itself is nice and the sea is beautiful. Good or swimming. The problem is the amount of people offering you things on the beach - It's annoying. The bars in front of he beach are very expensive and always try to fool the tourists.

take a morning walk, play with the sleepy waves, stretch on the sand..and very soon the local umbrella businesses will cover the space and fill the air with fried fish.. the price for a chair under the umbrella is always different, so don't take the first one.. walk further and you will sure find 3 times cheaper, from Real 30...
