It's very touristy but still nice, quiet and gorgeous. It's cheap too... You can walk to Maracaipe and then pay 15 reals for a little boat tour.

The experience of seeing seahorses is amazing. The sailor catchs them in the river where they go to reproduce and put them inside a glass bottle where you can see them. After that they take them back to the place where they were caught. I asked if the seahorses are not in danger with all those movements around. They told...

When you get a Ponta-a-Ponta buggy ride, Pontal de Maracaípe is usually on the itinerary. You start at Muro Alto, then Praia do Cupe, then Pontal de Maracaípe, then Praia do Maracaípe and finally to the place you started from.
