The museum tells the history of Minas Gerais and its main characters in a very interactive way, with wireless earphones. The only downside is that for foreigners the visit is only possible with guides, as all the videos and brochures are only in Portuguese. According to a guide that I talked to, they are finishing the translation of the material...

Beautiful staircase, great displays, wonderful people working there. I loved the display with the big hand, heads and music, a very balanced approach to Minas history.
