The NP of Chapada dos Veadeiros is well worth its WHS inscription. You can be in direct contact with the unique protected area of the cerrado (i.e Brazilian savannah), with luck you may sight some of its fauna and after some very nice trekkings you can swim in the pure waters of the falls and natural pools inside the park.... Wonderful place to visit! Excellent guided trekks with strategic stops at some points for a well deserved refreshing bath (even a natural spa there!). Highly recommended for those who like natural trails. Be aware just that you need the whole day for most tours. More

It is a beautiful park but still not flooded with tourists. There is one walk to see the canyons and others to see difefernt waterfalls in which everyone bathes although the water is a bit cold.
