It i a quiet, calm, near the beach townsquare, surrounded by the best restaurants and hotels in town, where one can walk around, eat, drink and relax and in a cozy and safe atmosphere. Prices are steep, but it is definitely worth it to come to Trancoso and Quadrado.

a magic place. on top of the cliff the lawn square rounded by charming and original houses, colorful, rounded by centennial large trees that create a mistik penumbrae, crowded of nice, tanned and beautiful people is my special place to spend my new years eve year after year. Try once and never regret.

I love this place, the simplicity, the church, the restaurants. Trancoso is one of my favorite places in Brasil. You have to feel the Villa to understand the magic around this relaxing place.

The "quadrado" is just a small place with colorful little houses and an old church in the end. It is cute though but that's pretty much it. The view behind the church is nice and there are some restaurants and shops around but be prepared to spend a lot of money if you decide to eat or shop there. There... More

It is a must, specially at night. Many restaurants serving very good meals (at high prices) with tables outdoor under big trees looking like a big garden or park. Very charming and romantic atmosphere. Unfortunately, there is not much to do during raining nights since most restaurants dont have indoor tables.

Lovely old, unpaved square, you can imagine a lot of activities taking place there - festivals, horses grazing, etc. In early November it was very quiet, except for one night where we stumbled upon a local samba party

Full moon is very romantic, choose one day do dinner at El Gordo, offers a very nice view, day or night.

The Quadrado is the centre of Trancoso where once can spend the day (starts in the afternoon) at interesting shops and galleries and have the best restaurants. Seat outside whenever possible and don't be afraid to explore the hidden shops and restaurants. visit the Church which has great service music during evening masses.

I love quadrado. it's a special place for me. It is a magic place, it's colorful, the houses arquitecture is gorgius and the small church, all together offer a special atmosphere
