Nice beach, quiet. Keep in mind there are too many rocks on the beach, where swimming may be dangerous. You need to walk a little to find the right place for swimming

It is a litle far, but it is very nice. You can stay in any of the bars that offer beach umbrella and chairs for a price.

This is a beach outside the city, not far from the airport. Nice view of the waves coming in... a good walk on the beach... but the beach itself is not well cared for, not clean... lot of debris... plus the sea is very rough... it is not a calm, inviting sea... better stick to one of the hotels' swimming...

We were a little dissapointed with Stella Maris beach. It took us a good 30/45 min to get there by cab. It wasn't as sheltered as hoped and crowded on either side although you able to find some quiet spots. Not much shade and (compared to Australian beaches) relatively dirty and littered. The beach is very nice and quiet (except for sunday) with several bars where you can sit and relax enjoyning the sun and the breeze from the ocean.
