Really nice. Very nicely displayed. Personnel there are really nice and helpful. Afterwards go and eat at the SENAC restaurant right next to it (three doors down and on a secodn floor). THIS IS REAL BAHIAN COOKING prepared by students. More

Only 36 reales for a all you can eat buffett. The cheff from this restaurant are students from the senac. They serve a buffet of 40 different plates. You can taste in one meal, all the Bahia's flavors More

This place is only open for lunch and it offers a buffet of 40 different Bahia dishes, right on the "Pelourinho". You need to ask to be directed to the "Bahian Buffet" if that is what you want; there is another restaurant next door run by the same outfit, serving international cuisine in a "all you can eat" buffet in... Maybe their restaurant would be worth a visit but their museum certainly isn't. It has hardly anything on display and that little amount was only in Portuguese. More

Excellent little place in the historica heart of Salvador. Linked to the restaurant beside it. Well worth a visit. Few siginage in English but the attendand does speak a little English. Great place for foodies. More

This is a cultural center that promotes the bahian food tradition. The museum is interesting and has free admission, but it is rather small and in portuguese only. In my opinion the real attraction is the restaurant, which is in the same complex and is run by the local cooking school that trains future professional chefs. At the lower level... More
