Well worth the walk out to see this huge ancient structure. Head for the Myndos Junction trafflc lights and it's just around the corner.

Lovely but a little tricky to find with the map we were given of the town. Well worth the looking though.
we liked the beach and boats not anything else.. good restaurants ,,, good beach good people ,,,, a little expensive

One of the reasons for me to go to bodrum was to see and walk through the Mindos Gate . I am very interested in ancient history and a fan of Alexander the Great.... who conquered Alikarnassos more than 2000 years ago and entered the city through the Mindos Gate.
if you are interested in archiology and history this is an evocative site, not much in the way of illustrations or information but you imagination can run riot
this was apart of a tour of bodrum and was very good our tour guide was maz and was from turkey and was very enthuisiastic about what he was telling us
Beautiful area, crystal clear water and great to walk on the columns of the ancient city. Had fantastic weather and wonderfully friendly people, not being harassed, clean and great restaurants, especially the Siesta restaurant, which looks like a little piece of Greece ! Angora white wine is crisp, dry and refreshing and the fish exceptional! Worth a lazy afternoon visit...
