Lots of narrow streets and old houses in the area - some converted to restaurants. Walking up to the top of the castle was interesting and the top view was excellent. Lots of young turkish boys and girls also enjoyed this place.

The Ankara Citadel is peopled in relatively large numbers, still, by local inhabitants who live in quite poor conditions. The view from the top level is breathtaking. Always enjoy visiting castles. This one is split over two hills with a magnificant view of Ankara. Washington restaurant within the castle walls serve wonderful food

Awesome experience..Must visit place in Ankara..It should top the list..If you are interested in exploring old monuments then don't miss it friends..
