The park is small and not really appealing. Its just worth a 15 - 30 mins trip and that too if you are in the area visiting other parks.

Very cheap to get in. Hundreds of varieties of butterflies and being surrounded by those flying around you is simply amazing. You get to see them feed, touch them and pick up the dead ones to be placed on the tree trunk. There is also a special display of other dead bugs. Handsome looking beetles, huge ones, fierce looking ones.

The garden with butterflies is not that large, but in the outside enough to see and explore. Inside the building more information and selection of little animals from all over the world

We went with our 3 year old and had a ball, make sure you buy the fish food for 5rm before going in as feeding the enormous gold fish like fish is a highlight

Good value, probably plan one hour for your visit. Plenty of opportunities for photographs of the butterflys. The reptile / insect exhibits were also intersting however the tank for the alligator turtle was far too small. The turtle is about 0.5metres long and the tank only about 2m....maybe it would be better in a zoo or somewhere with much more... More

This was a fab little park with lots of wildlife and stunning butterflies - some huge, some small, some brightly coloured and some hiding! A very enjoyable day - perfect for kids or just for a wander! Take a taxi - it's a bit of trek to get to otherwise!

The KL butterfly is just a short walk away from The KL bird park and I would suggest visiting both in a morning or afternoon trip.
