If you've been to one, you've honestly been to them all! But if you like knock off goods and to walk around than come to check it out. The prices are no where as good as what you find in Thailand. And they mainly hawk shoes and bags. Go nearby to Central Market to get more traditional knick knacks and... More

Good place to visit for a bit of an experience in KL. Markets are not too bad, and great with all the people crowding in! Food stalls a plenty, and many stalls to bargain with. Better place than Central Markets, personally.

This market it similar to any other fake/flea market in Asia. The key word is fake you will be very hard press to find anything that is the really thing but if you are like me and don't care for brand labels and just want something that looks good for a good price this is the place. We took my... More

Why anyone would want to come here is beyond me. Avoid it unless you want to be hassled, knocked by people and buy cheap knock off crap. Stalls are run by all sorts it's not all Chinese so don't expect that as you will be disappointed The food stalls are all pretty meh and it all looks pretty insanitary -... More

As with all Chinatowns, you'll find the usual products (t-shirts, bags, magnets, beads, belts, shoes, watches, massages and general tat). Before you get too hot and bothered by people trying to earn a living (i.e. trying to sell you their wares) - take a moment to sit down for a beer/whiskey/water at one of the stalls. As you sup your... More

The Chinatown Market is the place where you can buy anything - most is not genuine, from brand name watches to brand name shoes, clothing, etc., including movie DVD's & so on. It is fun to bargain with the stall holders and hope that you are getting a good deal. The night markets there are also very interesting and busy... More

The hustle and bustle of Chinatown KL is wonderful. I loved it so much here. Get ready to haggle and have a laugh with stall owners on Petaling Street. They are all trying to grab you in and sell you something whether you want it or not! Some people might find this annoying but I really enjoy that type of... More

This is the place for any of the above ! Be prepared to haggle hard as prices start off ridiculous, walk away and they will chase you and accept the price ! Very cramped and crowded conditions and the food stalls look scary!!

Interesting and retaining some of the characteristics I remember from almost 20 years ago. The pity is the sameness of many products and the very blatant emphasis of concentrating on the tourists.

Chinatown is awesome here, the best part is Petaling street. Something kept drawing me back to Petaling street, I thought it was one of the best parts of Kuala Lumpur and a defo must see. The street(s) are lined with counterfeit merchandise of all the big brands, I've have since heard it's the best place/one of a kind to get... More
