Fabulous colours, smells, tastes and shopping! Always barter... If they say 120... You say 15... And start from there. Don't feel awkward, they expect it. You can get some good replica goods but a lot of it is also pretty rubbish. You need to know what you are looking for before going, and had an idea of what you want... More

The first thing to remember for everyone is haggle! It does daunt some people to do this but it is in the sellers nature to over inflate prices 3-4 fold of the actual price. Most stalls are replicas, and good ones for a short while. I haggled a wallet down from RM60 to RM15.... outrageous? Well not really as it... More

I am writing this review on night markets in KL to stop the confusion that is on this page. It is no wonder why some members such as AristonLondon below are asking where it is? Night markets, known locally as 'Pasar Malam' are found all over KL, and generally consist of a local market, open from early evening until late,... More

Don't miss it, it is vibrant bazaar with opportunity to test your bargaining skills, to eat some street food, to stroll between hundreds of little shops and displays. Walk around before you start buying, as prices vary and it is up to you to get what you want at the price you want.

Much better than China Town. It's a great mixture of smells and flavours. Just walk around the street shops and enjoy some good food, you'll discover some excellent tastes, don't be afraid to try things. Some stuff they sell is of good quality, get a good deal!!

If anyone can help We're in KL right now looking for the night market. The one in china town is just one Street with about 10 stalls and the one that is given on the address above in Masjid India is a small Indian market that is just closing. Where is this amazing market everyone is talking about ????

Located in the heart of Chinatown this is a great place to go if you enjoy haggling for goods or just want to kick back and enjoy the lively atmosphere and sample some street food. All the usual market goods can be found here and at great prices if you are prepared to haggle. I think some of it runs... More
