This palace and it's grounds are absolutely beautiful. We spent almost 3 hours here and could have happily spent a week. We booked our 2 day shore excursion through Allatours and had an absolutely marvelous time! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful. We saw and learned more than we could retain. A canal tour is a good way of seeing most of the major sights from either the canals or the Neva River. Bridges are very low and anyone standing is likely to loose their head.
