The drinks are cheap but taste expensive. The music is local but sounds international. The crowd is laid back but exiting. All in all, this place is a great way to see how Boquete kicks back and enjoy themselves!

My friend's and I happened upon this place a year ago while travelling through Boquete. The decor and atmosphere were great, and the music was amazing- for my taste. I was pleasantly surprised to find a place like this in Boquete, and have since returned to Boquete twice and always had a wonderful time.

Your choices for nightlife in Boquete are limited, but unless there is a local festival going on, this is the place to go. Perfect place to share your day's worth of experiences with other travelers or local expats. Also, keep your eye out for crazy Uncle Rico, although he may never stop talking if you get him going.

Imagine our surprise to see a bar named Zanzibar up in the mountains of Boquete in western Panama!
