The mosque and the Putra Square are amazing. Lot of open space for you to chill out. It is excellent especially at night when the lights on the bridge go on.

I take a train to Putrajaya about 25 min. and take a bus No.400 to look around the city. Putrajaya is a government city and I stop at Putrajaya Mosque is near a government building. It so nice but many bus stop in front of the Mosque that decrease the power of beautiful.
Did this as part of a half day tour of Putrajaya. Found the experience rewarding as I have never been inside a mosque before. So if your a westerner and wonder what's inside a mosque here's your chance at a very modern and spectacular one!

Great Architecture! This place is clean & lively and the whole environment is beautifully built. I heard Non- Muslims are allowed to visit the mosque, with proper attire.

Very impressive building, and non-Muslims can get a free guide through the building with an explanation of the Muslim faith, which was also interesting.

To join this tour, you just need to catch the RM1 tour bus at Putrajaya Sentral. The registration booth is right the exit gate of the KLIA transit train going to KLIA from KL Sentral....
