Had an excellent morning with Nazlina wandering through the wet markets and then for our cooking class. Nazlina was very helpful and the class very casual and informative. Had great fun learning and eating. Nazlina has a great sense of humor and has a fun personality. Well worth doing? More

I loved every minute of this class. I would do it again, and again, and again. I booked this course as a birthday present for my partner and we both enjoyed every minute. Naz has a wonderful knowledge of the local area and provides a lot of background information about local history and the markets. The cookery class was very... More

Having eaten my way through Malysia, I was very curious about repeating some of my experiences in my home kitchen and Nazlina's class was a great intro. I almost missed this experience trying to make a reservation at the last minute and Nazlina very kindly arranged a separate class in the afternoon just for me. Nazlina is a great instructor... More

Thank you Nazlina for a wonderful experience. It was the highlight of our stay in Penang. The description of the course content has been well covered in other reviews and I cannot expand on them other than to say that there was nothing negative I found during the cookery class and would without doubt book another class if we return... Wehave just spent the morning with Nazlima and thoroughly enjoyed it. The course was at the eastern &Oriental Hotel (beautiful setting). We started with a stop at a restuarant for tea and roti chanai. We then visited the market in Chowrasta street to purchase ingredients. Nazlima was very informative and told has a lot about the vegetables, spices and fruits... More

This is a great way to spend the morning. Experiencing the wet market with a local is priceless. Cooking at E&O (on Wednesday's) and eating in their surroundings is an absolute pleasure. Nazlina is very relaxed and is good company. Thoroughly recommended if you like food. More

Had a great day. We did the class in Georgetown and had the wet Market tour first. The tour was great and informative, cooking class a great experience and learnt a lot and the food we cooked was incredible! Possibly best food I ate in Penang and that is saying something. Highly recommend! More

We booked with Nazlina during our recent stay in Penang - on Valentines Day, a happy coincidence :) We met first for breakfast and then Nazlina took us around the markets to choose our ingredients. As it was just the 2 of us, we got to decide what to cook (beef rendang and laksa with sambal). The market tour was... More

After a roti canai breakie which is needed for a 7:30 kickoff, Nazlina takes you around the food markets in the Campbell st. While pickings up items for the dishes she explains other items, what they are used for, what they taste like. Walking through various indoor / outdoor markets through the morning you begin to be inspired by the... More

We went here because Lonely Planet and our hotel used them. this place was pretty pricy and the owner was nice but very business-oriented. our class was small but interrupted by a visiting cook from Sri Lanka. She was more focused on that and then had a photo shoot to go to afterwards for a book she's writing so clearly... More

Dear Sf903, thanks so much for taking the time to write this review. I appreciate it very much. I am so sorry that I was not aware of the way that you were feeling at that time. If you had told me on the day, I would have found some ways to make it up to you. Anyway, thanks again... More
