it was my first time seeing mossy forest, amazed with its view.
I joined half day tour from tanah rata, kind of lucky that I didn't experience the frustration hikers have abt the terrible condition of the walk.
thereafter, the other hiking trip, I also saw mossy forest, but none is as pretty as Cameron one.
certainly must go for everyone,...

Visiting Mossy forest was the highlight of Malaysia for me. Its just amazing to be able to walk in such an old forest and it feels so peaceful. I would have been happy to spend the whole day just enjoying this beautiful area. Do make sure you have covered footware that you are happy to have ruined as you are...

Whilst interesting, it is also a rather dangerous walk, the view from the summit is nothing unusual, a lower altitude walk just through the Mossy Forest would suffice
In traffic the road to Mossy Forest ( which is also the road to BOH tea plantation part of the way) is a pothole narrow track nightmare. It's simply not wide enough to deal with 2 way traffic & we met buses navigating the narrow road as far as the tea plantation.

You don't have to be experienced to do the trek. It was not difficult at all. I actually sandals, but advise everyone else to wear...

On the way, we could get a breathtaking view of the Tea gardens and estates. Upon arrival we found the stairs leading inside the Mossy Forest. It took 30 mins to reach the end, which...

Well worth a visit! Look out for pitcher plants and the leaves that tiger balm is made from. Wear old shoes/boots, cos it can get quite muddy.
We joined a group tour, which brought us to Gunung Brinchang and Mossy Forest. The guide first brought us on a short board walk, and introduced the forest to us. Then he led us onto the earthy track, which was harder to manipulate through, but we had fun. Along the way, we saw pitcher plants, and trees which were covered...
