I visit Labuan for 2days. Really they need to do something for the beach. It's really very dirty, lucky our hotel has a swimming pool facing to ocean. We really enjoyed it. City is very nice, and clean. Everything is very cheap there. Because it's duty free zone. Specially alcohol is very cheap there.

Be sure to watch the sun go down on the beach and it is a must "click" photograph session for the professionals

The beaches are poor for sun seekers, full of rubbish in some parts, but the coastal roads are beautiful and for cycling was amazing. Little traffic as well. So rent some bikes and tour the whole island in a few hours. So Fun

Inadequate care, or love for keeping the beach's clean also owing to a lack of social care by locals who dump rubbish everywhere without a care in the world. Lack of rubbish bins and facilities and enforcement also to blame. But it's the Malaysian attitude that is to blame.
