The windmills and the tulips say it all. And the cool weather makes the trip to Hui Ten Bosch in Kyushu so much relaxing, exciting and enjoyable. Relaxing because we were cruising on board a ferry to view the fantastic scenery of this resort. Exciting because before the tour guide bought the tickets we were happily snapping away the pictures.... More

The architecture was beautiful, and the way the park lit up at night was breathtaking. It was a very fair price compared to the theme parks in the US. We got an amazing deal at the hotel we stayed at, Hotel Amsterdam, and stayed on the floor that served free fresh baked goods and tea that we substituted for breakfast.... More

It's very far. Even from Nagasaki, it takes almost 2 hours by JR. The admission fee is very, very high: 5,900 Yen include some attractions only (not even for all) and the attractions there are not as great as Disney Land at all. Most of them are 3D. The only selling point is being a "Little Holland". You can buy... More

As Dutch living in Japan, it is a bit weard to visit Huis Ten Bosch at Kyushu Island, but I must say it was worth it. We really felt to be back in Holland. The quality of the copied landmarks, houses, windmills, tulip fields, but even the paving. Everything was really Dutch, except we were the only Dutch-speaking..... Huis Ten... More

Went he in October 2011 and stayed a night in the Hotel Nikko Huis Ten Bosch. The hotel was expensive, and so was the part but I believe that it was worth a visit. The architecture was amazing and the restaurants were good. One whole day is sufficient to visit this place I guess.

I read a lot of reviews before going and kind of managed my family's expectation before the trip from Fukuoka, where we stayed. I have to say that it was a pleasant day for us and we all enjoyed ourselves. We bought only the entry tickets (not the value ticket) after reading the posts here, and that was a good... More

It's a fake Dutch village in a remote area of Japan. You also have to pay to visit. Not worth if you have been to Holland.

Huis Ten Bosch is the biggest crock of a theme park I've ever visited. My guidebook raved about it so I travelled 90 minutes out of my way from Nagasaki to get there. At first glance it appeared pretty impressive - the first thing you see as you leave the station is the enormous Huis Ten Bosch Hotel which looks... More

For those who like the animation "One Piece", here is your wonderland. Best collection of souvenirs you could find here and you can experience sailing on the Thousand Sunny Cruise! The park had changed a lot since my last visit 3 years ago, no more fireworks and part of the park has been rearranged as free zone
