Me and my firends took the ropeway to the boats and the boats across the lake. It has 2 stops: Hakone-machi and Moto-hakone. The pirate boats were very cool. The ride across the lake has very nice view!. The mountain scenery was really beautiful. As we planned to go to Gotemba Factory Outlet after that, we depart at the Moto-hakone... More

The pirate ship provides good views in a very pleasant setting. The boat is licensed so my wife and I enjoyed a couple of beers after our train / ropeway experience. We went first class, which was much less crowded than economy and worth the extra few bucks. More

A pleasant way to get from the end of the ropeway to the final leg of the round trip. See review of Hakone Tanzen railway for more info. More

We did the trip around Lake Ashi on the pirate ship (on the Hakone free day pass) and it was lovely. I liked being able to get off at any of the 3 locations and we were lucky enough to see Mt. Fuji from the lake - awesome! I imagine it would be a hive of activity in summer -... More

I took a ride on a 'pirate boat' here as part of a tour, it was amazing even though we couldn't see Mt Fuji - the light here just before sunset is a photographer's dream. More

The pirate boat on the lake offered good views and a few laughs for the silly design. It was a pleasant excursion. More

The clear blue waters look truly beautiful here. The swan boats and pirate ships add character to this lake. Definitely an exciting experience. There is also a restaurant and shop selling knick knacks. More
