I assumed I can find some thing special in Alaeddin Hill. But for me at least it was just something similar to other parks around the place. Worth of visit in extra time i think.
Up the hill with the staircase fountain is another mosque. Souvenir vendors are outside but you can ignore them and enjoy the views of town from the grounds. There's another mosque down one side with pretty blue tiles on its minaret that are lovely as well.

a kind of timulus, this hill unfortunately was under construction. But you should visit there anyway to see the mosque on top of it. Also you'll have chance to see Konya's landscape from this place.
