Another fine theatre to see. The council chamber of the reign of Antiochus IV is well preserved. It was a wet day, but that didn't get in the way of spending quality time there.

Difficult to imagine such a big and glorious city on the site, but it is still lot to be seen there - including a big theatre, paved roads and ruins of a numerous buildings. 1st time we went there it was an abandoned , but now its a popular attraction, with 1000's of years of history underfoot amazing place to visit

One of the powerhouses of the ancient world, this place is well preserved and quite interesting to see. The layout and the location of the site are quite informative and enhance one's understanding of how such a place could have been the force that it was. GO AND SEE.
