What a wonderful day! So much to see along the way during the boat cruise, and then the castle was just beautiful, the 4 hour stop at the castle was just amazing, lots of places to wander around in such a beautiful enchanted place. Definitely will return for another visit!

Finally this lovely castle is receiving the attention it has always deserved. The second last time I visited it the pictured towers had no roofs. The restoration is progressing nicely. Even if you have been here before, you need to visit it again.

A unique experience. One man's attempt to recreate Bavaria in the New World. It is a beautiful location and a great deal of effort has been put into restoring the house and its immediate surroundings. Well worth a visit.

We like to visit on a warm sunny day; the breezes off the water are refreshing. We take Uncle Sam boat cruise over to Heart Island and take our time walking through the castle and the grounds.(you can hop any Uncle Sam boat back to mainland) Very beautiful. Wonderful photo ops.

So much to see what a great day day. We left on a rainy cool day but the weather soon turned to sunny and warm the sights along the st.Lawrence were well worth the trip in itself but the newly restored castle was the high light of the day. Loads of fun.
