One of the many royal palaces built historically by the monarchy.. Hire a tuk tuk out of the city, its not that far and you will be brought to the Palace that happens to be right at the side of the air troopers .. You can rent a bike to ride around, with bikes for two or kiddy sized also... More

One of the Royal palaces built in the 20's. Not much to see as most room are empty but still intersting to look around very cheap to view the grounds and not expensive to look around the house. Was not used for for years after the king died and restored in the 90's but still in the need for more... More

Thailand has many royal palaces around the country and this palace in Hua Hin is just add another to the collection. The palace was used as a summer palace by the royal members but now I'm not sure if it is still been use.As you enter you can sense the romantic part of the gardens and the patios and the rooms... This palace is a bit of a distance out of town from Hua Hin or Cha am, and it seems it's not visited much by westerners. It's different from the usual ornate, glittering Thai temples that you would normally visit, with tasteful combinations of turquoise, yellow and green walls adorning long, sweeping corridors and the various residential rooms. It's interesting... More

Interesting place to visit, if you have an hour or two to spare and want to see a lovely building. The land around the palace is very well laid out and you can imagine Thai Royalty strolling around in the tranquillity. Walking around inside the palace seeing the simple furnished but elegant rooms was fascinating for us.. The King certainly... More

This is my 5th time visiting this place and I can still keep going. The place is romantic, mysterious, spectacular with some gloomy feeling at the same time. The palace needs more maintenance and renovated. The garden is large with lots of rain trees and a western corner. The shop has improved with more charming souvenirs. If possible, there should... Cost - 2 adults and 1 child around 70baht in total to get in. No charge for my 8 year old. Make sure you go with your knees covered. Nice way to spent an hour or so. Nothing there for children so they will get a little bored. Nice to sit on a bench by the beach in the shade

This is a beautiful spot and is worth visiting. Unfortunately, a lot of the signs are in Thai but there is enough in English to give sufficient information. If you want to visit the rooms of the palace upstairs (which I would recommend doing) you need to pay a little extra - 60 baht instead of 30 baht. Make sure... More

We were taken here by a Thai friend. At the 'reception' we hired bikes to travel around the palace and the grounds. Some a fabulous artefacts from the past, showing what old Thailand was like. The day we went the place was almost empty, so we could look around at our leisure. We spent a morning there and felt there... More
