We stayed just next to this market at the Hyatt regency. Brought our kids around, and with the beautiful hanging lanterns and white themed decors... beautiful and comfortable to walk around leisurely. They have this nice coffee shop right in the middle of the market where we relaxed for a while... A must visit when in Hua Hin for your... More

We visited the Cicada market with some Thai friends. We went on a Sunday night where it was much less crowded. Its very well set up and when you arrive you exchange cash for 'paper money' in differing amounts of your choice. When you purchase your food you use the voucher/paper money that way the vendors don't have to deal... More

A beautiful market open evenings fri- sun. Soo much good food, different vendors to buy from and you sit in a beautiful spot under the trees and eat. This is the place to find things to buy you don't find everywhere! I bought all my gifts to bring home here. We came back several nights just for the food. There... More

Seems to have dropped a few notches from the place it used to be, there is not that much competition around so cannot see why. Parking can be a nightmare, from 30 to 50 baht to park near the market. Some good shops and some average shops, did not visit the food area in the actual market this time around,... More

We enjoyed another visit to the Cicada Markets. I bought a porceilin bracelet . There are so many talented store holders here. The designer dog wear is very cute and some young Thai couple did have their dogs with them dressed for the evening. It is a lot of fun even if you just want to look and not buy.

We were staying in a hotel just a few minutes walk away from the Cicada Market. Being in a relatively quiet area of town, it was a nice distraction on a Friday night to be able to visit this market whose highlights included some 15-20 food stalls, an arts and crafts stalls, and nightly variety shows. The food market used... More

We went to the Cicada Night Market on the Xmas weekend. Was completely taken in colourful festive feel. It is actually a creative congregation of local artisans, performers n craftsmen. Lots of small stalls selling all kinds of knick knacks like tees handmade bags jewellery interesting curios clothes etc. There are live performances at the amphitheatre making the atmosphere fun... Market is open on Friday and Saturday night only, I think. Choice is different to the usual souvenirs at the night market, it's more like a funky market in the West. people selling are artists mainly, selling their own creations. i bought some different presents there, something you can't buy anywhere else in Hua HIn. The market is next to... More

We went here on a Saturday night to enjoy some nice food and shopping. We just asked for that, but once we arrived we were amazed. we saw loads of shows going on, and there was countless stands selling EVERYTHING. To buy things you have to buy coupons at the counter, so make sure you bring a lot of cash.... More
