I like a big statue at the temple. I felt that the temple was very far from the Dusit Thani Hotel but many people in my group loved to go there, we went there on the way to Hua Hin Winery.

I'm no fan of temples or religious iconography, but I have to say that this was damned impressive. Different enough to earn the title.

Fantastic setting, I always get blown away at places like this. But you could easily spend a half day to a day walking around the beautiful scenery and huge Monk and golden trees are so fascinating. We came across Huay Mongkol whilst driving out to Pala-U waterfall. So glad we did :)

Very interesting and learned a bit more about the religion. A lovely ride out. I loved the Gold Trees.

We were driving out to the Hua Hin Vineyards and stopped here on the way. Of course it is free to park and walk round. Plenty of photo opportunities and an amazing sight. There are lakes to walk around for those a little more energetic. There is a shop selling food, drinks, ice creams etc... an ATM machine?!?!? and plenty... More

Went on a weekday. A quiet and peaceful spot. Fed the fishes, walked around the temple. Nice. Probably not worth the journey on its own. But good to stop on a tour.

I am a quiet person and enjoy going to temples for relaxation, prayers and admire the energy that I feel from the temples and the surrounds.

A bit out of the way but worth the drive. Large impressive statue. Lots of local color. Go in the morning when it is not so hot.

apparently there are usually over 300 monkeys hanging around this temple, but there was only about 5 today so if you are going just to see monkeys you may be disappointed.
