The scenery is beautiful. Don't do a bus tour unless you want to see Taipei @ Tarako. Instead, do a private car. It will be well worth the extra cost because you can see the natural beauty without the crowds. More

went to the Hehuanshan to trek ... a little spoilt by the rain but we still have great fun there was snow too around the side of the road and also manage to catch the sea of clouds on our way down the mountain. The view was awesome!! More

If you have time (or a day) and you wanted to venture out of Taipei, do head to Hualien and go to Taroko National Park. It is a must-go place! It is so beautiful (water is oh-so blue and clear!). And the sceneries? Magnificient! More
