Well worth a visit. Monkeys are fun. Very forward monkeys. Be warned if you have food on you as they will hunt you down in packs and strip you of anything edible. Also, don't look them straight in the eye or slag them off behind their back.

if you don't like monkeys this may not be the forest for you but seriously who doesn't like monkeys??? This place is so much fun, we could have sat there and watched the monkeys all day long...and we pretty much did, we went once in the morning then ended up coming back later on that afternoon. If you're in Ubud... More

Awesome monkeys, even they are wild, but they are cute and nice too. just make sure you have plenty of bananas, hide it in the bag, and try to attract them by offering one piece of banana. Be careful for your tiny stuffs and accessories, such as glasses, hat, because they like to grab anything. But no need to worry,... More

It was like a forest from a fairy tail. There are lot of monkeys of all sizes, I was amazed of the amount! Especially the little ones were so cute. But don´t bring any food with you unless you wish the monkeys jump allover you. It didn´t cost a lot, so go to see.

Be sure to remove anything that might catch the attention of the monkeys, such as earrings, watches, sunglasses and of course food. Unless you want the monkeys to jump on you. Very nice forest/park, beautiful surroundings and a great way to see monkeys.

The monkey forest is beautiful. A lot of people visit it, every day, so you will never be on your own with the monkeys. Although they are wild animals, they know that humans give them food. They smell their lunch, even if you hide it in a plastic bag, in your pocket or in your bag. If you don't bring... More
