An amazing experience to learn about the family life of the Balinese people. Got to learn how to make delicious dishes with a cookbook to bring home! Wayan and family were very hospitable and friendly. Highly recommend going!

I booked this on recommendation from a guy that I met travelling and am very grateful for the recommendation! I thought this was fabulous. Everyone was lovely and the food, oooh lordy, the food! (I waddled back to my guest house with a serious food-baby and a massive grin). We started off in the market where Ms Wayan showed us... More

Had an excellent evening. Very well looked after, very 'hands-on' and so much food to eat when we'd finished! Pupa and everyone else looked after us brilliantly. We would recommend this to anyone.

From the first contact I had with "Aunty Puspa" via email this cooking class was one if a kind. We where given a tour of the local rice fields and given the full run down of how things where harvested and locally produced. Puspa and her husband where fun and interactive and made you feel welcome in their beautiful home.... More

I attended a morning cooking class with my mother in October 2012 and we loved the food but there were just too many people. Then add to that the several people who 'had to do everything' and quite a few of us were left sitting back watching (unless we got the elbows out and pushed the others out of the... More

I loved this class, which we did in the afternoon. My impression is that class sizes are smaller in the afternoon -you don't go to the markets but you do get a visit to a rice paddy for explanation. The explanation of rice growing and Balinese family life were better than any others we had on our visit. With only... More

This is a classing cooking class structure with market visit, rice paddies explanations and half a day spend in the compound of a Balinese family. You will feel sincerely welcomed and at ease. Time is spend to explain local cultures and family structure. The food is wonderful and a total of 8 dishes are prepared. It is my second cooking... More

Wayan and Puspa's cooking class is great! My sister and I cooked a variety of authentic dishes Balinese style. Wayan and Puspa's English is exceptional, they are very welcoming hosts! The level of hygiene was top quality and it was a great evening activity! Am going back to Ubud and will be sure to pay them another visit as my... More

Paon cooking class is simply the best thing to do in Ubud - and that's why: + The stunning number of eight delicious dishes + The serene ambiente in the compound between rice paddies + The high level of hygiene + A lot of participation (you really cook yourself!) + And last but not least the friendliest and funniest hosts...
