like: swimming on the Balinese warm sea waters and cycling on the Sanur promenade. dislike: I can't remember anything I disliked about the beach
Lovely peaceful clean beach, little hassle from the locals after their first attempt, cleaned up every few hours, water lovely, sand white....
Been coming to Sanur a few years now, and must say the beach area has worsened. Apart from an awesome walkway with great restaurants, beautiful decorations and fairylights at night, the daytime look is a bit different. Some areas in front of hotels are quite nice, clean sand, no rubbish.
Most parts though seem to be neglected. Garbage is floating...

We visited the beach in the late afternoon when the tide is receded, the beach is quite deserted with beautiful sand patterns. It's not very clean and the coastline is filled with boats so maybe swimming is not very suitable. However, you can do many kinds of water sports here. The beachfront walk is nice with amazing view of Mt....

The town itself is small, but quaint and you really feel like a local. We met a man on the beach that took us to some island during the day where we snorkeled and road bikes and even witnessed a cremation ceremony. If you want to do something a little different than kuna and jimbaran but still want a beach...

The beach is charmless, not to say ugly. The sea is not that clear as other beaches in Bali. The main street is nice, but not like Ubud. The beachfront walk is good to exercise and a walk at sunset. But it really doens't worth the trip.
This beach front rocks with food and markets available cafes and massage all the usual bali attractions water sports included
Sanur beach is a real let-down. The sand by the major beach-front hotels has at least been swept and major detritus removed, but only yards away from these the sands are covered by garbage, both left by visitors (for once the locals seem the main culprits) and washed in from the sea, whence it has been deposited from the various...
