If you enjoyed watching "Phuket's Fantasea" and "Bangkok's Siam Niramit" shows, chances are you'll be entertained by "Bali Agung" show at Bali Theatre. The theatre itself is located inside the compound of the "Bali Marine & Safari Park" (an unusual location I must say). In order to see this show, you have to purchase the costly safari park packages unfortunately.... More

This is the first time I visited this theatre. It is located in the area of Bali Safari and Marine Park. The price also included the safari journey, or you can ask the guide to buy you a ticket to this theatre. Please don't miss this attraction,, they are really amazing... The light, sound, story, really really touching. They can... More

Went to Nusa Dua to see The Devdan performance. Story starts with a tour around the jungle where 2 children get bored and wander off and find a treasure chest. Lots of different dances from Bali, Borneo and Java. Very entertaining. Well worth a visit. I recommend spending a little bit extra to get the best seats in the middle

Bali Agung needs better promotion. Even the title of this review under Bali Theatre is misleading. I first visited with my son and daughter in law (Balinese) and 2 year old grandson. We were ALL like little kids.. oh-ing and ah-ing - amazed when a parade of elephants, gorgeously costumed, paraded across the stage to start what was a marvelous... More

We chose the friday evening show and we were delighted to watch the performances by humans and animals alike. The Balinese ancient story is told through music and expressions and hardly any dialogues. The entire set was majestic and all performers are extremely talented!

Lovely air conditioned theatre in which to try to absorb some traditional culture. Sadly that is where the experience also finished.. Our group of 6 all found time for a little sleep... The colour and pageantry was on a grand scale but still not enough to capture our interest.. All in all it was a great cure for insomnia

"Bali Agung" is one of the best performance we had watched so far. The show lasted for an hour and the beautiful cast put up an impressive performance.

If you want to experience the more sofisticated side of the balineese culture, you should visit the bali theatre. I was here with my family, and we were all amazed. They have plays that retold balineese fairytales and stories, excellent for both children and adults. Be prepered that you can't bring any drinks or cameras into the theatre.
