Lakshman Jhula is a suspension bridge built over river Ganges. It is an interesting walk as you share the space with pedestrians, two-wheelers, cows, dogs and monkeys!! From the car park to the jhula it is a good walk that passes through small shops with artefacts and curios.

Rishikesh, we visited on Feb 15th and stayed in Parmarth Niketan Ashram. You will get share rickshaws from the railway station to Lakshman Jhula ( Rs.10-15). View of Ganga is awesome and you can enjoy it from the Jhula. Daily trips are there to Neelkant Temple, which is around 25 kms from Lakshman Jula ( Rs.100 Per Head).
