Be sure not to miss the moving figures gallery upstairs with scenes from the Ramayana. Popular with Indian tourists, costs only 3 rupees, although no photographs. Like nothing else you've seen...

The downstairs mandir is a beautiful, sacred space, filled with a strong devotional energy. Upstairs is a delightful series of animated dioramas portraying scenes from many of the famous Hindu tales. After body chek, you can enter. To respect God and Goddes, all you have to buy is a small flowers (20rupies) There are many monkeys in this Mondrian, it is better to tie your belongings tight. I was very moved to see many Indian people worship eagerly Sri Rama and his empress Sita

Best time to visit Tulsi Manas Mandir is during Sawan Mela (July-Aug) when the temple gets a new makeover. Lots of epic stories are being put on display. The temple is one of the top destination of Varanasi.

One statue of Tulsidas is fitted with sound system. It moves on the basis of machine. It was unique in year 1971, but the feature is very often used at various places.
