Great selection, owner seems nice, it is hot in there though! I wish he would have turned on the over head fans.

An amazing find and well worth a visit. Be prepared you will come away with purchases as there is something here for everyone. The owner knows where every book is - floor to ceiling. The shop has a great peaceful vibe.

I love this book shop. The owner knows every single book in the store and is extremely interested in helping you out. If you want a book that he hasn't got, he will find it and in a couple of days he's got it in his shop. I could recommend a trip to Varanasi only based on this amazing book... More

Well if you believe in Chance encounters then Harmony Book shop will give you many in terms of the books they have on shelf, Rakesh's recommendations, fellow visitors to the book shop, writers visiting, photographers visiting etc. We should do all we can to preserve book shops like this one as there are only a few left in the world,...
