Because it is some way from Udaipur and not used for worship, we found this beautiful temple quiet and peaceful. It is in a lovely location.

Eklingji, near Udaipur, is a hidden but impressive temple complex, primarily centered on two impressive four-faces Shiva lingam. While several of the temples are off limits to tourist, this is definitely worth the visit on the way back from Nathdwara.

I've never seen so many shrines in one temple, a very interesting place indeed, and quite contemplative. Shame about the village, it seemed a bit run down.
