The palace is amazing, different of many in Europe, City Palace of Udaipur is still live!!! You feel like in a time machine, mainly if you spend a night inside Shiv Nivas. The Guest House keep the same decoration and layout is side by side with Maharaj's house. The staff is amazing, they receive you with flowers, juice and a... More

This is a very beautiful amazing set of buildings. Inside the palace gates there are two hotels, the palace and museum and the present home of the Royal family of Udaipur. The mosaics, murals and marble carvings are amazingly well preserved and all tell the story of the palace and its inhabitants over the centuries. Some of the rooms are... More

This is a large and amazing palace make sure you have lots of time to fully appreciate the details. The fine detail in the paintings following the story as its been told takes time but well worth it. Experience the palace from a lady's perspective looking out the small windows imagining the party down below The city and Lake views are... More

1.I bet you cannot get tired of coming to the city for its breathtaking beauty and calm. It is so romantic. 2.Palace is right in the heart of the town. Conveyance available and you can drive up to here too. 3.In comparison to all the other palaces of Rajasthan, it has really been looked after and is in perfect condition.... More

Aside from having your ticket checked four times before you enter it was really well run. You simply follow the signs which take you throughout the whole palace. Most other 'palaces' we've seen restrict you to major courtyards etc but on this one you walk up and down levels and through tiny corridors which I really enjoyed. They have student... More

I really enjoyed my visit to this Palace - the Kings and the Queens Palaces are both ornate and stunning. The day I visited, the King was in residence. He must have a stunning lifestyle - his gardens are beautifully manicured, the Kings Guards are perfectly turned out and the grounds of the Palace are beautiful, you get a real... More

This keeps you busy for a good part of forenoon. Go there early in the forenoon to avoid the crowds which swell with time. Early morning also provides comfortable access to the parking, which again spills with all sort of cars, cabs, etc. once crowd pours in.

This Castle is locate in the heart of Udaipur city. Its so big that you would need almost half the day to check it out completely. In this castle you can see numerous examples of fabulous art work. One side of the castle touches the Lake Pichola. The administration takes proper care of the castle and its kept clean.
