Take this ropeway for an excellent aerial view of Udaipur and the vast expanse of lakes. You can see all the luxury palace hotels all around the lakes, giving you a very beautiful picture. There 's nothing much besides the view from there. There is a small mosque and an underconstruction temple. However the wait for the entry to the... More

The rope way is a fast way to reach the Karni Mata Temple. The queues are rather long and provide normal and Special services for different tariff structures. U can book the ride as per the convenient. After reaching the top u are greeted with a picturesque view of the Udaipur City with the white Lake palace in the backdrop.

If you have time, go for this ropeway. While you get an opportunity to seek blessings from goddess Mansapurna Karni, you get a fab view of lake and city. If you are staying for 2-3 days, you must go for it.

The views you get from the ride up and down are breathtaking. We had gone around noon with the sun beating down on us, but the views more than compensated for the heat. I guess the scenery would be better at dusk. A must see for everyone. And the quiet surroundings are an added benefit
