Took the audio tour, probably the right choice for the expanse of this fort. However, from experience taking a local guide allows you to get some behind the scenes view of places that you otherwise would have missed! I like Mehrangarh fort very much.Its a great heritage constructed fort.Very good to see its building and construction of ancient time.The royal people have their own developed architecture.A very well planned fort it is.I like it very much More

A highlight of our visit to Rajasthan. Nothing can prepare you for this fort. It is stunning. The art collection has to be seen to be believed. An audio guide is a must. More

was there for our kinda second honeymoon, so maybe that skews judgement. poor approach road, but seems has improved now the place itself has a great sense of majesty and history. get tickets at the entrance, extra for cameras. carry your own water, if going in the summers. avoid buying stuff from the little bazaar inside- or bargain the hell... More

No visit to Rajesthani Forts is complete without visiting Meherangarh Fort. The Palace and the Mahals are superb and the conservation is not usual across India except the Taj. Visit their website for reference. More
