The temple surrounding is not at all clean. And there is no toilet facility for the general public! Only if you are staying in a hotel, do you have access to a toilet. Had a bad time there.

The location was very good and the weather was pleasant though in May. The route up and down was very scenic and the temple is an ideal place where one can unwind and devote full time to prayers and bhajans. The crowd was less in the mornings and picks up only after 10 30 hrs.

I visited Bhimashanker temple with family group. The roads are good at places but at places needs re carpeting. The single road makes the journey long killing the speed every now and then. Temple premises are good, luckily it wasn't crowded during our visit and could stay in the temple for more than half an hour waiting for the arti.... More
