if you get a good story-teller the tale of this market is fascinating. Set up because of the trade in the century before last, this market has good smells wafting through. While it doesn't cost you anything to breathe in the spices, it does pinch you pocket from a regular kirana store.

it was the search for finding the routes of my family which I lost.....we stayed at the Brunton boatyard hotel....was the pleasant stay which we had.... Thanks for the driver Rajesh who took all around.....thanks for the guidelines given by bobby Gangadhar and jermy of lekeralaholidays.com....boys you were the best...love you loads

While this area is interesting - close to Jew Town, the fishing nets- it's over priced and only for tourists.

U can get every other spice here, you name it.I bought spices for 25kg here and its still so fresh till now.The aroma cant beat ony other place I've shopped.There are many spice markets along Jew Town, but the best is the inner ones.
