Was well explained with english speaking host. The makeup part for first hour is just someone applying face paint. Skip this and go for the actual show!

Greenix village has a surprisingly good culture show. Although clearly a tourist attraction, its done well. Definitely worth visiting, as Fort Cochi doesn't have much to do at night.

It was good experience to watch the Kathakali show at Greenix village. We enjoyed the museum and the show, specially the make up. If you wish to see the show then don't miss the make up.

They had shows everyday in the evening in a small theatre. They started with a short history and demo of the expressions and then went on with the show itself. There were hardly any shows around and this was a very good option to see the dance. Would definitely recommend it if you have not seen the dance before

Worth seeing although it did go on a bit too long. Also, the theatre is air conditioned and got quite chilly towards the end of the performance.

Very good intro to Kathakali history and dance. The centre is well air conditioned. Good info in the costume room and the small theatre is well laid out. 1 show was enough for us though ! Cafe bit on the dear side for Kochi

We enjoyed the skilled and fascinating Kathkali performers so much that we attended a performance before our tour of the south and after the tour concluded. I'd go again if I had the opportunity..

I was with my 5 year old and we chose to see the multiple Kerala dance forms program. I was apprehensive how long she would last. The slower performances bored her a little but she thoroughly enjoyed the more vigorous performances, especially the kaliyarpattu. I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere where one is able to appreciate the nuances of ras... More

I took a tour; I did not sign up for any performances. A good intro to Kerala's culture. The place is privately run, so it has tourist infrastructure, such as decent toilets.
