This complex of rock-cut temples not so big (4 caves) but very very picturesque. The cave temples date back to 600 and 700 CE. And everyone is a great art.

Badami caves were one of the first effort of cave architecture during Early-Chalukyan period. Not a very large complex as compared to Ellora but caves are nice and reasonably intact.
