Nubra is thr most amazing valley I have visited. The roads to Nubra are dramatically beautiful. The white sand dessert at Hunter is another amazin and unique place.

We visited Leh in may2013 n the experience was truly exhilirating!! The experience of seeing the landscaps with naked eyes was unparalled n yes the road journey thru the two mountain passes (khardungla n changla ) were a challenge. My personal tip: have light breakfast before you start for the altitude climb and keep antacids handy. Rest have faith in... More

Pangong and Nubra are the two off-Leh attractions. Nubra is a Long and tedious journey. The good part is, it passes the Kardungla pass, the highest Motor-able Road way of the world. The snow can be a spoil sport. we had to wait for hours due to a snow slide and heavy snowfall There are no hotels in Nubra -... More

Visited Nubra valley in May 2013..The best part is the Journey to nubra valley... Leh--South Pullu---Khar du-la pass--North pullu and finally Nubra... The best part is the night camp in nubra between splendid mountains and campfires etc. etc. :) Don't forget to do the camel ride on the sand dunes and the Diskhit monastery.

This valley ha some great views . The best one was the vast white sand dunes alongside a river flowing just below huge mountain range. There was also a huge Buddha statue that attracts many visitors . In between you will also find very small villages with green lands .
