This temple is the most common name in Manali. This is amidst very huge and tall(say Monstrous} Deodar tress. The temple is dedicated to Maa Hidimba, mother of Worrior Ghatotkach, in epic of Mahabharat. Temple is mainly made of wood and looks very beautiful. There are lot of eatery point outside the temple offering famous "Chhole Bhature of Delhi".

The temple and nearby area is a good place to visit
behind the temple there is Van Vihar Park which boasts of huge fir trees
On one side is Ghatokach Tree where you can do small activities
like dressing up in himachall costumes clicking photos, riding a yak,
holding a furry rabbit.

Very nice temple, it is very old. everyone shold visit this. Hidimba is wife of Bhima in ramayana, it her place, temple is good and shows old culutre.
nice temple but not so impressive. the highlight was the white rabbits that the local women threw on me to take pictures with :)

one of the best attractions of manali. a definite heritage site to visit. there are many ways of going to the temple. one can trek a few steps from a shortcut (first left from hotel snowline.. walking in the directions of log hut area). fresh air and full of trees.. simply the best
